I am happy to report that even though the day felt less productive, we did in the end get five rafters up. There were a few shaky moments and I mean that quite literally. We were nervous about the integrity of the kitchen walls during all the pounding. The walls were shaking so the guys decided to stop and work on securing the walls before taking any chances. Kitchen walls coming down would have been a disaster and a budget blower for sure. Tomorrow is a new day, bring it on....
