I hope to start making improvements to the kitchen soon. We've tossed around the idea of replacing the cabinets or revamping them. They were custom built in the 40's for this kitchen and I'm not sure I have the heart to tear them out. That being said they have paint chipping, 'saw dust' shaving off when you open the drawers, doors pop open when you close another, and the issues go on and on...I shutter to think of how many paint chips I've eaten over the last nine years!
I'm hoping a fresh primer & paint, new hinges, closures & handles will make me love them again!

sure how we got by without it!
Basic, roomy & just perfect for two. It does get more use than we thought it would, the kids love the shower.
Did I mention the shower? Oh, how did we live here all these years with just a tub?
