"May I use your powder room?"

I can't find the before pics of the powder room, but trust me when I say it was hideous. It had faux black & pink tile glued on to the walls.

One of the things I love the most about my house is the height of all ceilings throughout the house. Every room is tall, so even if it's small, it's still tall. I am no professional decorator (as if I needed to state the obvious), so I do a lot of things that would make some people cringe. However to me I like easy, inexpensive and practical. Like the faux stained glass static cling on the window, perfect solution to a boring window. I will say it looks so pretty when the bathroom light shines through it.
I have to say, one of my favorite and more well done projects are the painted radiators. The picture does not do it justice. I think this one turned out the best. I painted a base coat with a heat tolerant paint and then rubbed the accent color on with a cloth. This radiator was done in a dark brown with a shiny copper accent color. This was to emulate the color of the light fixture.
The original light fixture sets the tone for this room. My husband rewired it so it would be safe to use another 100 years. My house is full of original light fixtures. This fixture was relocated from a bedroom upstairs to this powder room. (Bedrooms needed ceiling fans for practical reasons.)
