After removing the drop ceiling we can see that the cabinet molding continues all the way to the ceiling. Unfortunately, the entire project revolves around changing the roof line, so the top has to go. We may still be able to keep the cabinets, just not the molding at top.  

   We removed the panels and found the old trim and paint color....Army green? For real?? Since we did not find the hidden treasure we had hoped would pay for this remodel, I guess we are still going to have to stay true to the budget the best we can.
