Salsa Garden...Not going so well

 So a while back I posted about planting my salsa garden. I haven't had much luck here with a garden and this year has been no different. I have eight tomato plants and only eighteen tomatoes and a few cherry tomatoes, with no other blooms in sight. I think with the amount of water, cost of the plants and my time, I could have bought the tomatoes for my salsa cheaper. And my pepper plants are a complete bust, no peppers at all. Last year I had them in abundance and this year the plants didn't even grow. We decided that maybe next year if we have the time and gumption we will build a raised bed and see if we have better luck.  Otherwise, I may hang up my garden tools for a while.
