Campfire Toasted Angel Food Cake~Yummy!

   Since my strawberries didn't survive the afternoon heat while camping this weekend, we were left with just angel food cake for my husband's birthday. So to kick up the cake a notch we sliced it and toasted it on the campfire. It was actually very good. It kind of caramelized the outer crust and the inside still melts in your mouth. I think I may bring angel food cake on our next camping trip. Might even be good dipped in a little chocolate sauce!
